It's Official My Helm Campaign

I've been toying with the idea of wearing helms particularly robotic ones in public for a while now.It started a long time ago when i saw Star Wars and saw vadar's helment and then later iRobot and i thought "how raw that would be".Due to a series of level head minds telling me it was be social and swag suicide to do such i let it go. But now after laying dorment for many years my secret is reemerging thanks to the Universal Mind Control Video with pharell and common. I mean seriously....did you see that thing. So with that said i'm official promoting all wearing of helms in public, but of course as with any fashion statement be smart and don't look stupid.

Artist of The Week 1(Turbo)

Every week starting the week of October 8th 2008 I'm going to add an artist of the week you should know about and listen to that you probably don't. Being that he is the inspiration for this blog it is only appropriate that I put first in line

TssT's T Double Turbo The Battle Toad.

Straight from his blog:

My Two Cents:
Turbo is one of the first myspace artist that i actually found original and fresh turnout from the hiphop community. He is one of the best if not the best story telling artist I've come across from the younger generation of hiphopians. Many of his rhymes have a shaggy dog style to them but continue to keep the listener captivated.Short Story: One of my favorite songs by him is off of one his first mixtapes of Electro Rock V1( i believe. )Over Kanye West's song Impossible depicting a brawl between child hood imbodiment of david and goliath. Turbo's ingenuity with words places him in a callibur of his own amongst independent artist and easily earns himself as SOF's Artist of The Week

Catching You Up To Speed

Currently I am a rapper, somewhere along the lines of independent and amateur. I have currently finished 2 mixtapes and released one of them. Respectively named Counter Balance 1.5 and Counter Balance 2.0.

Story Behind the Name(my spleal ): In the music industry particular to hip hop there is a heavy amount of negative hiphop(I.E gangsta rap and the glamorization of the thug life). Contrary to popular belief I am not a conscious rapper or a fighter against such types of music. In fact I'm typing this while I listen to Welcome Back compliments of Young Jeezy. However I am a devote advocate of balance. And i believe the creativity in the hiphop arena is slowly dwindling my music is simply me doing my duty in adding some alternate lyrical content to the other side of the scale. Accordingly my mixtape's title is Counter Balance, because it is the counter to the balance that is currently behind upheld in the industry.
